The following cases are contraindications to ICE treatment:
Raynaud's Disease
Cold Hypersensitivity
Diabetes with vascular disease
Peripheral vascular disease.
Malignancy
Impaired sensation
Ice Massage over the carotid
Elderly patients with fragile skin.
Inability to understand warning signs or excessive use
